Geomorphically incorrect art #9.

Another ad, this one from Outside.  The mountains, white oak leaves, snails and mushrooms are true to form, but what's up with that water?

My alternate copy:

"Terrified wearers of shoes in which a person can run ran for high ground when the dam broke.  You never took your feet off the porch rail."

Disclaimer: I wore out a pair of these in grad school and highly recommend them because you can kick them off in class and enjoy free feet. But you cannot run in them. And those are 3-meter hydraulic jumps.

No point in trying to run. These are easy to kick off like Steve said, when you are struggling to keep your head above water in the flood.
